Who wants to go to less-traveled beaches? Islands that are not so crowded, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, and Instagram-worthy sunsets? And most important is how cheap it is to get there. Everyone, I guess.

We have to accept the fact that there are so many beaches that are all lovely but are all too busy. If you want to have some peace and quiet with your family, and at the same time very affordable to visit.

I don’t want to be biased but living in a country with 7,500 plus islands our standards with beaches are pretty high. I’m just sharing 10. I think It will take me years to finish showing you guys every single island. But hey, What the heck, Let’s begin.

Check out these awesome spots. But please do take note that some of these beaches are amazingly beautiful but they are in remote places. So be sure to prepare yourselves.

Casapsapan, Beach Casiguran, Aurora

Looking for a fine sandy beach? with crystal clear waters? oh in the Philippines, we have tons of that. But let me give you one of the many islands you can visit.

Casapsapan is in Casiguran Aurora which is one least-traveled beach in this part of the country. But it’s all worth it. You just have to take note of some things to truly enjoy this wonderful paradise.

Travel Tips

Power Supply starts from 5 pm to 5 am – So the rest of those hours wouldn’t be a problem for most people would be swimming, snorkeling and doing other fun activities on the island.

Food is a bit pricey within the beach area- so you better bring your own if you know you need to munch a bit every now and then.

Poor signal- As I mentioned above, most of these islands are remote so don’t expect to have wifi. anyways, who wants to surf the net if you are in paradise right?

Balinghai Beach

Been to Boracay? If you’ve never heard of Boracay then this is this perfect time to visit because, for 6 months, It was closed for rehabilitation due to so many tourists. Now, It’s cleaner than ever! But, Boracay isn’t the place I’ve been wanting to share with everyone.

It’s the Balinghai beach which is the secret beach in Boracay. This beach is surrounded by limestone rocks. Although this can be accessed only through a steep path down a limestone wall, It also has the powdery sandy beach of Boracay with more privacy and the serenity you are looking for.

Travel tip

Going to Balinghai is just a tricycle away from Boracay. Which will only take you 15 minute from the white beach of Boracay Island.

Palaui Island, Cagayan Valley

You’ve probably heard of Palaui Island because it was on CNN’s top ten world’s most beautiful beaches in the world. It’s one of the best on this list not just because CNN says so. It’s because it remains the same throughout the years.

Just what like Lakwatsero says “is a place built by wind, sculpted by waves and nurtured by time. Discover the distinct charm of its scenic rugged terrain; chorus with the howling music of its gigantic waves; explore and experience the mystique of Palaui Island. ”

Travel Tips

You can get there by plane from Manila to Tuguegarao. It will take you an hour to get there. Then A bus ride to Sta Ana for about 3 hours and a boat ride to the Island after.

There are no accommodations on the island itself. Tourists need to stay in resorts in Sta Ana or Pitch a tent in Punta Verde only.

Sila Beach, Northern Samar

So the Philippines has more than just white, black, gray, brown sandy beaches. Hello, pink sand! I knew I had to include at least one of the many pink beaches in this side of the world. This island in Northern Samar should definitely be in your top list to visit this 2019.

Aside from pristine waters, it was complemented by the beautiful pink beach and coconut trees. Just like other beaches on the list. There are no hotel accommodations on the island itself to preserve its beauty of course. So prepare yourself as always.

Travel Tips

You can get to the island by a motorboat trip that runs daily from San Isidro to The island which will take about 2 hours for just 100 Pesos or  $2.

A special motorboat trip may cost more from Destacado to Sila. It may take 30 minutes to an hour.

So, What so great about this island? Everything, The island has a rich lagoon and mangroves where the locals get their daily food. So delicious seafood, stunning beach with equally beautiful people. This is just one of the many precious islands you shouldn’t miss this year.

Black Island, Coron, Palawan

If you’ve heard of Coron many times. You already have an idea of how beautiful this place is. But there’s this Island that people shouldn’t miss. Had enough of my Pinkish Persuasion? (LOL). Here’s a beach that is not literally black but does have a touch of black. as the poor traveler quote

“Black Island earns its name from the dark-colored karst cliffs that stand tall at the center of the island. Their feet are worshipped by the wide bed of glittering white sand, one of the finest I have seen, which is teased constantly by the azure water. The beach is soft and supple, sloping and steep, perhaps shaped by the artful hands of the wind and the waves. ”

I just love how he describes this island which exactly what tourists would feel when they finally reach the island

Masasa Beach, Tingloy,

Batangas is one of the most popular local beach destinations because of how accessible it is from Manila as well as how affordable it is. Masasa is one of the many beaches that are snorkeling haven. If you’re even lucky You might even have a chance to swim with the turtles.

Don’t forget to look for the swimming-pool like lagoon. It’s one of those Instagram worthy spots on the island. There’s so much to do in Masasa so make sure to visit.

Seco Island, Antique

I added this beach not because it’s the best the islands has to offer. Let me tell you what you need to know. The island is very remote and I mean very. No electricity, No signal and definitely no accommodations. So when it comes to these things you know what to expect.

The boat ride to the island may not be always smooth sailing. It depends on the weather condition so make sure to check the best months to visit. So, Why do I still add this Island on my list?.

Simple. It’s the beauty and the tranquility you hardly see or feel anywhere. The beach has a long sandbar and it somehow curved like an elbow (Seco means elbow, but it’s spelled as Siko in Tagalog) Because of the remoteness there are days that the island is flanked with seaweeds and seashells scattered all over.

Now, If you think you’re the adventurous kind who still wants to see this island just like me then by all means go! Just check my travel tips

Travel Tips

Expect a bit pricey trip with this one. Since the boat ride will take two and a half hours from the mainland the fare may not be cheap especially if you’re alone.

The best days to visit is during the summer months so you can see the long sand bar and the chance of rain is a bit low.

Since there’s no accommodations and long hours of trip back and fourth. Make sure to bring packed meals or ask tour guides/boat men where you can get fresh sea foods that they can cook and prepare for you.
